Dr. Alyssa Findley, a Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeon and Dermatologist, stands at the forefront of healthcare leadership, bringing expert dermatological care to Southern New England. Her compassionate approach extends beyond routine cases, making her one of the region’s leading specialists in complex reconstruction and Mohs for melanoma. With a stellar academic background, Dr. Findley earned a B.S. degree in Biology with Magna Cum Laude honors from Bucknell University before pursuing her medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Her journey continued with an Internal Medicine internship at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA, followed by a dermatology residency at Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Findley’s commitment to excellence led her to complete a surgical fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, and Cosmetic Dermatology at Dermatoalogy Professionals in East Greenwich, RI.

During her training, Dr. Findley developed a keen interest in the surgical management of melanoma, becoming one of the very few fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons in the area practicing Mohs for melanoma. With a decade of dedicated service to patients across Southern New England, Dr. Findley is known for fostering close relationships with those under her care. She advocates for the benefits of Mohs surgery and reconstruction in a single outpatient setting, showcasing her proficiency in high-complexity procedures under local anesthesia, including interpolation flaps like the paramedian forehead flap.

Dr. Findley is dual board certified in General Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery through the American Board of Dermatology. She has performed thousands of Mohs surgery procedures, blending surgical proficiency, pathological precision, and reconstructive artistry into a single visit. Her dedication to forging personal connections, coupled with her extensive training, positions her as the trusted choice for comprehensive and effective dermatological care.
