Alyssa Findley, MD, FAAD, FACMS

Dr. Alyssa Findley is a Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeon and Dermatologist. As the owner of our practice, she is excited to bring expert dermatological care to Southern New England. Dr. Findley graduated from Bucknell University, where she earned a B.S. degree in Biology with Magna Cum Laude honors. Next, she attended Tufts University School of Medicine and an internship at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. Dr. Findley then completed a dermatology residency at Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA, during which time she served as chief resident. She completed her surgical fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, and Cosmetic Dermatology at Dermatology Professionals in East Greenwich, RI.

During her training, she developed a particular interest in the surgical management of melanoma.  Dr. Findley is one of very few fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons in the area practicing Mohs for melanoma and is referred patients from across Southern New England for this procedure. She is extremely passionate about educating her patients on the importance of sun protection and the early detection of atypical moles and skin cancer. 

Dr. Findley has proudly served patients in RI and MA for the past 10 years, and she is known for the close relationship she develops with her patients. She is a strong advocate for the benefits of Mohs surgery and reconstruction happening in a single outpatient setting in most situations. She has performed thousands of high-complexity procedures under local anesthesia, including interpolation flaps like the paramedian forehead flap. 

Dr. Findley maintains active membership in numerous state and national medical associations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. She is board-certified in dermatology through the American Board of Dermatology. 

Dr. Findley grew up in Knoxville, TN, as the oldest of five siblings. During high school, she was an avid runner and state champion tennis player. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and five children (four boys and one girl). She loves being outdoors and skiing and can often be spotted running on Barrington Beach with her sheepadoodle “Ollie” on the weekends. 


Catherine Luz, DCNP, FNP-C
Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner

Catherine is a dual board-certified Family and Dermatology Nurse Practitioner committed to building trust and meaningful connections with her patients. Her warm, approachable demeanor helps put people at ease, while her personalized, evidence-based care empowers her patients to confidently take charge of their skin health.

Her nursing career began in a hospital setting, where she worked in the surgical and trauma units. On the trauma-surgical floor, Catherine cared for patients with severe burns, performed intensive wound care, and managed complex medical cases. Her early experience ignited her lasting passion for dermatology and continues to influence her holistic, compassionate approach.

Catherine has been practicing medical dermatology since 2018 and has cared for patients of all ages, developing expertise in managing chronic skin conditions, assisting with Mohs micrographic surgery, and providing comprehensive post-operative care and follow-up. Her background in internal medicine, geriatrics, and emergency care further supports her comprehensive understanding of skin health, particularly in wound care and complex dermatologic cases. She has a special interest in biologic therapies for conditions such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. She also has a strong focus on skin cancer surveillance and treating inflammatory skin concerns such as acne and rosacea.

She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Salve Regina University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She holds certifications from the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Certification Board (DCNP) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB). She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners and the Dermatology Nurses’ Association.

A lifelong Rhode Island resident, Catherine enjoys running, baking, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with her husband, two children, and their Boston Terrier, Louie.


Nadia Rudman, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Nadia Rudman, PA-C, is our highly skilled, compassionate, board-certified Physician Assistant. She is a dedicated healthcare professional whose diverse experiences and passion for dermatology make her a valuable asset to our patients. Nadia is drawn to dermatology because of its power to improve confidence across all age groups. She values patient education and effective communication and is fascinated by dermatology's integration of multiple body systems and varied treatment approaches.

Nadia's academic journey began at Hofstra University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Kinesiology and Spanish. She then earned her Physician Assistant degree from Bay Path University. During her training, she completed 11 diverse clinical rotations across RI, MA, and FL, with a particular affinity for her Dermatologic rotation. Upon graduating, Nadia joined the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) to continue her education. She recently embarked on a Diplomate Fellowship in Dermatology through SDPA, underscoring her commitment to professional growth.

Before joining us, Nadia honed her skills at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Warren, RI, where she managed various conditions. In addition to her full-time role, she served as a solo provider at an urgent care facility, performing various procedures and treating acute conditions. Nadia's healthcare career was preceded by roles as a physical therapist aide and dental assistant, enriching her understanding of patient care from multiple perspectives.

Growing up in a multilingual household, Nadia is fluent in French and highly conversant in Spanish. She also has a passion for community engagement, exemplified by her developing a volleyball program for middle school girls at the local YMCA. Outside of the office, Nadia is an enthusiastic pickleball player and an avid reader. She also enjoys making pottery, comedy, exercising, and spending quality time with her family.


Emily Ferullo, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Emily Ferullo, PA-C, is a compassionate, board-certified Physician Assistant with a strong clinical background and a deep passion for dermatology. She is inspired by dermatology’s unique ability to enhance both health and confidence by caring for the body’s most visible organ, the skin. Emily values patient education and individualized care, and she believes in using both preventative and therapeutic approaches to deliver the best possible outcomes for her patients.

Emily’s academic path began at Boston University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Sociology, a minor in Biology, and honors from the Kilachand Honors College. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Johnson & Wales University in 2024, completing nine comprehensive clinical rotations across Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including her dermatology rotation at Findley Dermatology. She was also inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society, signifying being top 15% of her graduating class for both academics and professionalism. Emily is licensed as a PA in Rhode Island, holds controlled substance registration, and is DEA-certified.

Prior to completing Physician Assistant school and joining us, Emily developed her clinical skills in several healthcare settings. She worked as a medical assistant in a podiatrist’s office, where she handled patient intake and assisted with in-office procedures. Later, she served as a Clinical Assistant at Boston Children’s Hospital’s outpatient cardiology clinic, where she performed EKGs and recorded vital signs. Her experience also includes work in a family medicine practice, where she managed patients of all ages and backgrounds, from pediatric to geriatric.

Emily is known for her commitment to patient-centered care and empathy. As the first in her family to pursue a career in healthcare, she has been drawn to serving others through medicine since childhood. Outside of work, Emily resides in Boston with her husband and their dog, Ruby. She enjoys exploring the city on her favorite jogging routes, hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and taking Ruby on long walks.
