Nadia Rudman, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Nadia Rudman, PA-C, is our highly skilled, compassionate, board-certified Physician Assistant. She is a dedicated healthcare professional whose diverse experiences and passion for dermatology make her a valuable asset to our patients. Nadia is drawn to dermatology because of its power to improve confidence across all age groups. She values patient education and effective communication and is fascinated by dermatology's integration of multiple body systems and varied treatment approaches.
Nadia's academic journey began at Hofstra University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Kinesiology and Spanish. She then earned her Physician Assistant degree from Bay Path University. During her training, she completed 11 diverse clinical rotations across RI, MA, and FL, with a particular affinity for her Dermatologic rotation. Upon graduating, Nadia joined the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) to continue her education. She recently embarked on a Diplomate Fellowship in Dermatology through SDPA, underscoring her commitment to professional growth.
Before joining us, Nadia honed her skills at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Warren, RI, where she managed various conditions. In addition to her full-time role, she served as a solo provider at an urgent care facility, performing various procedures and treating acute conditions. Nadia's healthcare career was preceded by roles as a physical therapist aide and dental assistant, enriching her understanding of patient care from multiple perspectives.
Growing up in a multilingual household, Nadia is fluent in French and highly conversant in Spanish. She also has a passion for community engagement, exemplified by her developing a volleyball program for middle school girls at the local YMCA. Outside of the office, Nadia is an enthusiastic pickleball player and an avid reader. She also enjoys making pottery, comedy, exercising, and spending quality time with her family.
Emily Ferullo, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Emily Ferullo, PA-C, is a compassionate, board-certified Physician Assistant with a strong clinical background and a deep passion for dermatology. She is inspired by dermatology’s unique ability to enhance both health and confidence by caring for the body’s most visible organ, the skin. Emily values patient education and individualized care, and she believes in using both preventative and therapeutic approaches to deliver the best possible outcomes for her patients.
Emily’s academic path began at Boston University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Sociology, a minor in Biology, and honors from the Kilachand Honors College. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Johnson & Wales University in 2024, completing nine comprehensive clinical rotations across Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including her dermatology rotation at Findley Dermatology. She was also inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society, signifying being top 15% of her graduating class for both academics and professionalism. Emily is licensed as a PA in Rhode Island, holds controlled substance registration, and is DEA-certified.
Prior to completing Physician Assistant school and joining us, Emily developed her clinical skills in several healthcare settings. She worked as a medical assistant in a podiatrist’s office, where she handled patient intake and assisted with in-office procedures. Later, she served as a Clinical Assistant at Boston Children’s Hospital’s outpatient cardiology clinic, where she performed EKGs and recorded vital signs. Her experience also includes work in a family medicine practice, where she managed patients of all ages and backgrounds, from pediatric to geriatric.
Emily is known for her commitment to patient-centered care and empathy. As the first in her family to pursue a career in healthcare, she has been drawn to serving others through medicine since childhood. Outside of work, Emily resides in Boston with her husband and their dog, Ruby. She enjoys exploring the city on her favorite jogging routes, hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and taking Ruby on long walks.
Arquidalis Nieves
Practice Manager/Mohs Lab Histology Technician Manager
Arquidalis is passionate about three things: caring for people, developing her professional skills, and constantly learning new things. With nine years of experience as a lab manager and surgical assistant, she is a tremendous asset to our team.
As our office manager, she handles all aspects of our practice, including day-to-day office functions, including patient flow, scheduling, and staffing. And as our lab technician, she processes all surgical pathology tissue obtained from surgery. Her work is vital for Dr. Findley to interpret the results and provide diagnoses.
Becoming a Certified Medical Assistant in 2014 with an associate's Degree in Science, Arquidalis graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor's Degree in Science & Healthcare Administration. She has been a part of Dr. Findley’s care team for the past seven years and thoroughly enjoys providing our patients with excellent care.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, reading, and dancing.
Danika Holmes
Surgical Assistant
Danika brings 13 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in various settings to our practice and is a key player in all of our cosmetic procedures, surgical excisions, and Mohs surgery. She provides expert patient counseling and education, and she strives to serve our patients through personalized and exceptional care.
A MTTI graduate and Certified Medical Assistant, she is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology at Johnson & Wales University. Danika believes the best part of her job is that it never feels like “work”. She thoroughly enjoys what she does and is eager to make a difference in our patients’ lives. More importantly, she loves who she gets to do it with, as our team takes great pride in our work. She says Dr. Findley is such a great leader that it makes work “a piece of cake.”
At any time of the day, you can find Danika enjoying a coffee or eating pickles! When not at work, she loves spending time with her children and family.
Katie Leary
Surgical Assistant
As a a Surgical Assistant, Katie is an integral part of our team. She assists Dr. Findley with patient care and education, surgical excisions, cosmetic procedures, Mohs surgery, and complex reconstruction. She is also instrumental in providing a variety of critical support functions in the lab, such as preparing and processing tissue specimens on microscopic slides. She loves interacting with and caring for our patients and helping them understand their procedures and post-operative wound care. Surgery has become one of her favorite things.
Katie graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor's Degree and is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. She brings six-plus years of experience as a lab technician and pathology & surgical scheduler to our team.
When not at work, she enjoys cheering on the Red Sox, running, doing Zumba, and spending time with her husband and children. She also loves mixing up unique cocktails and has been a bartender for over 15 years.
Beth Reis
Surgical Assistant/Histotechnician
Beth’s expertise and dedication to patient care are critical to our practice. As our Histotechnician, she plays a vital role by processing surgical pathology tissue obtained during surgery, providing the crucial information Dr. Findley needs to interpret results and deliver accurate diagnoses.
Beth began her healthcare journey as a Certified Medical Assistant through BCC and a Certified Nursing Assistant from Diman RVTHS. She spent eight years in a Cardiac Clinic specializing in Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, and Structural Heart Surgery, where she excelled in surgical scheduling, assisting in exams, performing EKGs, and participating in various cardiac procedures.
After transitioning to general dermatology and Mohs surgery, Beth honed her skills over six years, assisting in biopsies, providing patient support, and managing administrative tasks. She is deeply committed to ensuring patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their visits, mainly when it helps them achieve skin cancer-free outcomes.
Outside of her medical career, Beth cherishes family time with her high school sweetheart husband and their three children. She enthusiastically supports her kids' sports activities and enjoys relaxing by the pool. Her hobbies include decorating, baking, gardening, and home remodeling. A passionate New England Patriots and Boston Bruins fan, Beth also loves staying connected with home design trends through HGTV.
Vanessa Avila
Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Esthetician
Vanessa is key to supporting our General Dermatology department and is a surgical assistant for Mohs procedures. She earned her Medical Assistant Certification from the Rhode Island College Outreach Program in 2017 and became a Licensed Esthetician after graduating from ANLI Academy in 2023.
Vanessa believes in the power of education, particularly emphasizing the importance of SPF, and finds joy in helping patients feel at ease during their visits. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care by conducting patient intakes, assisting with dermatologic procedures, and ensuring seamless clinic flow. Her role as a surgical assistant underscores her precision and commitment to supporting skin cancer treatments.
With over five years of experience as the Lead Medical Assistant at University Orthopedics, Vanessa honed her skills in managing high-volume clinical operations and assisting with various medical procedures. Her expertise, efficiency, and patient-centered approach are the core of her contributions to our team.
Outside work, Vanessa is a Halloween enthusiast who can often be found sipping coffee or water from her favorite Halloween-themed Stanley Tumbler. She enjoys true crime podcasts, cold case mysteries, and all things Star Wars and Harry Potter. A Boston Celtics fan, she also loves spending time with her wife and daughter.
Dawn Midelfort
Surgical Office Coordinator
With over 13 years in dermatology as a medical receptionist and a Certified Nursing Assistant, Dawn helps our patients understand their procedures and provides friendly and knowledgeable service, ensuring an amazing overall experience.
Our patients are Dawn’s favorite part of the job, providing the best quality of care and compassion from the initial contact through completed procedures and beyond. She wants to make each and every person who walks in our door feel better when they leave the office than when they walked in.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three beautiful daughters, a wonderful stepson, and her two grandchildren. She loves party planning, baking, decorating, weekend day trips, and football!
Rebecca Saccoccio
Medical Office Coordinator
Rebecca brings over a decade of experience in dermatology, excelling in both front desk operations and as a clinical medical assistant. A graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in Business Management, Rebecca is currently pursuing further education at CCRI with the possibility of obtaining her LPN degree. Her commitment to providing the best possible care and making patients feel comfortable and at ease is at the heart of everything she does. Rebecca’s compassion, expertise, and dedication to patient care make her an invaluable member of our team.
As a dedicated mother of two, Rebecca has balanced raising her children while working full-time and taking on a per diem role in a busy Emergency Room. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, shopping with her daughter, watching her son play hockey, and relaxing at the beach. An avid traveler, her favorite vacation spot is Aruba, where she enjoys recharging and exploring.
